Standalone Camera, 'Vidilanz'
The Vidilanz™ camera is the latest generation digital surveillance device that captures high-resolution colour images on a removable memory card, for easy viewing on a computer or PDA. The compact and lightweight unit is very easy to install - there is no need for mains wiring, a transmitter unit or data cables. Each photograph has the date and time it was taken incorporated in a tamper proof 'digital signature', providing verification that can be used as evidence. The user has full control over the image size and resolution, timing and the number of images captured, which are optimised and stored as JPEG files. The Vidilanz™ comes with a 32MB memory card, which holds up to 800 VGA images. The optional 1GB card holds up to 22,000 VGA images.
